Load profiles

On this page you have access to a load profile generator for heatdemand and a load profile generator for electricity demand. The load profiles are displayed as time series. The load profiles are based on the (building) use type, the annual electricity or heat requirements and the calculation period, which must be specified. In order to calculate the heat load, the ambient temperature corresponding to the calculation period is also used with the respective weather data.
The generated load profiles can also be downloaded.

Electrical Load Profiles

The electrical load profile generator generates a time series that shows the typical course of power consumption over time depending on (building) usage and annual power requirements. Furthermore, the calculation period can be specified:

  • (Building-)Use type – Selection of building use type
  • Annual electricity requirement – Enter the annual electricity requirement in kWh/a
  • Calculation period – Selection of the calculation period

Heat Load

The heat load profile generator creates a time series that shows the typical course of the heat load over time depending on the weather data, the annual heat requirement and the building type. Furthermore, the calculation period can be specified:

  • Weather data – The test reference year (TRY) can be selected here
  • Building Use type – Selection of building typ
  • Annual heat requirement – Enter the annual heat demand in kWh/a
  • Calculation period – Enter the calculation period
